Volunteering

The de Havilland Aircraft Museum is mostly staffed  by unpaid volunteers who perform a wide range of tasks according to their skills.

AeroShop Volunteers Wanted

The Museum has an excellent shop and café and right now we want volunteers to assist our Aeroshop Manager. If you have retail experience (although not essential) and would like to help the Museum please contact Mike Nevin by e-mail – volunteers@dehavillandmuseum.co.uk

Other Volunteer Positions

The Volunteer Crew are united in our mission to restore, preserve and display de Havilland Aircraft and artefacts. We are a “working” Museum where the visiting public are encouraged to get close up to the aircraft and engage with our friendly volunteers
We are always interested in recruiting people to fill the following positions:

  • Stewards and Aircraft Guardians
  • Marketing and Research
  • Restoration
  • Site Maintenance
  • Carpentry
  • Metal work

If you think you could help us by giving a little of your time we would like to hear from you.

A good first step is to complete the Volunteer Application Form which can be downloaded here or by e-mailing Mike Nevin on volunteers@dehavillandmuseum.co.uk
