de Havilland DH110 Sea Vixen FAW.2

Designed and built at Hatfield, the DH110 land-based two-seat, twin-engined all-weather fighter of 1951 was later adapted as the carrier-based Sea Vixen, the last and most advanced and comple of the de Havilland fighters.

Airspeed AS.51 & 58 Horsa Glider

In World War 2, towed transport gliders were built in large numbers to air-land troops with weapons far behind enemy lines, without needing parachute training, and with far less scattering.
