A.A. Motors in for Meetings
The last remaining part of the wartime hangars at Salisbury Hall where the DH Mosquito was built is a popular venue for meetings. With major refurbishment just completed, it has been booked by the Automobile Association (A.A.) for 17 staff meetings, the first on March 19th. The lean-to building was the Foreman’s Office attached to the hangars, which were demolished to make way for other buildings, some of which currently house the Aeroshop and Halford Collection of de Havilland aero engines.
It is fitting that the A.A. is coming to the museum as a number of car clubs already hold meetings there.
