Lending a Hand
On July 31st the museum was host to 20 staff from top travel company TUI/Thomson. The party from the company’s Risk, Safety Compliance Department had volunteered to spend the whole day with us doing a variety of tasks as part of the TUI/Thomson company policy of helping the community.
Gardening, weeding, cleaning aircraft were some of the jobs they did, and some of the staff, being pilots on Thomson’s Airbus aircraft, sat in the cockpits of the DHAM aircraft talking to visitors. A big thank you to them all.
