The de Havilland Aircraft Museum is a unique aviation venue in Hertfordshire.
Our main hangar displays three de Havilland Mosquito aircraft, including the original prototype, providing a dramatic and historic backdrop for events, filming, and photography.
A Unique Event & Private Hire Venue
The Museum is available for venue hire for private events, dinners, and receptions for up to 120 guests. It is a popular choice for car clubs, motorcycle clubs, aviation societies, and private group events, offering an atmospheric setting unlike any conventional event space.
Filming & Photography Location
The Museum is also an established film and photo shoot location, regularly hired for commercial filming, TV, advertising, and professional photography. Many of our historic aircraft are easily accessible and adaptable, making the Museum a flexible and visually striking location for creative projects.

Our Museum is close to major motorway routes – M25, M1, M11 and A10 and being just inside the M25 we are just 20 miles from central London. We have ample free parking to add to the Museum’s flexibility.

Celebrations and Parties
Our New Hangar has a large Mezzanine floor space with meeting rooms and a large event space which overlook our collection of de Havilland Aircraft.Its a unique venue for parties,celebration dinners,business meetings and much more.

Group Visits:
Maximum 20 until August 2020 when we can accommodate up to 50 visitors
Welcoming talk followed by active guided tour.
The tour normally takes a maximum 2 hours.
Free time to wonder and enter selective aircraft.
Coffee/teas and biscuits included.
