COVID UPDATE
IN LINE WITH GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES, THE MUSEUM WILL BE CLOSED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT FROM SUNDAY 20th DECEMBER. WE WISH ALL OUR VISITORS, FRIENDS, VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO A TIME IN 2021 WHEN WE CAN RE-OPEN SAFELY
The Museum Shop stocks a wide range of Kits/Models/Books/Gifts/Branded clothing and other products that will appeal to all ages.
Refreshments are also available from confectionery to sandwiches and ice creams. We also serve “bean to Cup” Lavazza coffee and other hot drinks including a variety of teas and hot chocolate as well as soft drinks.
Opening times – Winter (post Covid lockdown)
Over the Winter period we plan to open 6 days each week-Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays) 10.30 to 16.00 hrs – last entry to Museum at 15.00 hrs), unless otherwise stated on the home page.

Your email receipt of your purchase is your E Admission Ticket so please either print it out or show the receipt from your Mobile phone to the Admissions Staff.

Group Visits
Group visits are specialised 2 hour guided tours of the Museum by our Curator, who provides a personal insight into the work of the Museum and its Collection. The tour includes hot or cold drinks and light refreshments.

Disability Access
We have wheelchair access to all the main display buildings in the Museum and disabled toilet facilities. Open aircraft are accessible only via stairs.
FREE PARKING
The Museum Car Park has been enlarged and is FREE to all visitors.
Please do not not park in the entry lane to our neighbours’ properties and garages – Thank you.
Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
We regret that no dogs are permitted at the Museum with the exception of Assistance Dogs.
No Smoking or Vaping is allowed on the Museum site
